The impact of the Civil War on the residents of the town of Corinth is vividly portrayed in this this film shown in the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, part of Shiloh National Military Park. The program also explores the establishment of a model African American “contraband” camp. Reenactments, stock footage, and period photographs are woven together to give viewers a sense of the harsh conditions during the town’s siege and occupation. Historical quotes by residents, soldiers, contrabands, and others bring to life the story of the town. Corinth Crossroads is narrated by Grammy winning jazz singer and Mississippi native Cassandra Wilson.
